Our Buffalo City Hall Old Fashioned Rocks Glass displays a hand-drawn rendition of the towering, 32-story high art deco building.

On the opposite side of the cup, you’ll find a beautifully engraved Buffalo.

This stunning piece of architecture is the seat for municipal government in the City of Buffalo.

In front of it stands the 96-foot tall McKinley Monument complete with a fountain.

This obelisk monument was commissioned by the State of New York and erected over a century ago in honor of President William McKinley. It was dedicated six years after his assassination.

Picking up this Buffalo Theatre District glass is almost like stepping onto Main Street and walking past some iconic buildings.

Broadway shows have played at Shea’s; the oversized sign and lit marquee being a beautiful backdrop for many photo opportunities.

A plethora of bands (both big and small) have come through Town Ballroom.

The architecture of the police station graces the left-hand side of the street while the NFTA Rail is front and center, about to enter the tunnel. The street is abuzz with theatergoers, business folk returning home, and friends ready for a night on the town.

Art Gallery – Buffalo

The Buffalo Art Gallery Old Fashioned Rocks Glass showcases a stunning piece of Greek Revival architecture.

It is located in a picturesque setting of downtown Buffalo. Surrounded by the beauty of Delaware Park, Hoyt Lake, and a Japanese Garden, there is something to catch the eye around every corner…both inside and out!

While doing some background research during the design stage, I was looking for flowers native to the area that would elegantly complete this piece of art.

When I noticed milkweed on the list, I knew immediately it was meant to be! Monarch butterflies (also known as milkweed butterflies) are extremely special to me. They were my Mother’s favorite and the delicate little buds on the milkweed looked especially beautiful to re-create.

This milkweed bloom was hand-drawn specifically for this collection. It was fun to draw and completely satisfying to watch engrave that very first time!

Canalside Buffalo

With skaters on the ice and people from all walks of life passing by, this Canalside Old Fashioned Rocks Glass design transports you right to the center of the action. You can *almost* hear the music playing as you take in the details of this intricate design.

From a mother pausing with her child admiring the famous Shark Girl statue to a man dancing down the sidewalk, this design perfectly encapsulates the fun, friendly vibe you feel when you visit Canalside in any season.

It features the NFTA train going down Main Street, the Marriot, and Explore & More Children’s Museum surrounding the ice rink. Even the giant tricycle that sits atop Explore & More was not forgotten!

Moving further along the cup, you will notice the Buffalo Skyway (NYS Route 5) wrapping around. A Buffalo Naval Park battleship (USS The Sullivans) is hidden away in the distance, and some roaming Buffalo are grazing. (An artistic liberty, of course!)
