What materials can you engrave/cut?

While there are many material options available for CO2 laser cutting and engraving, my specialties include:

Wood

Glass (engraving only)

Acrylic

Cardstock

Anodized Aluminum (engraving only)

Stainless Steel (permanent marking only)

Cardboard. That’s right…cardboard! While I haven’t made any super cool recycled chandeliers yet 😉 (I’ve seen it done!) cardboard scraps make wonderful test subjects when it comes time to run prototypes. It has become a fun way to repurpose material.

Do you do photo engraving?

I do not offer this service at this time.

Can Sonder engrave a cup or tumbler I already have?

Yes! This has been a very popular request.

For local customers, I am always willing to take a look at what you have and provide this service. Turnaround is typically 1-3 business days for simple requests. (aka – no design work necessary.)

Certain styles/materials are not ideal but I can accommodate most styles on my rotary attachment.

There is a flat fee starting at $20/each (plus tax) for tumbler engraving services. Quantity discounts can be discussed when running multiples of the same cup/design.

If design services are needed in addition to engraving, I would be more than happy to quote that.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! Custom orders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis depending on my current workload/backlog.

Does your laser engrave in color?

Simply put, no.

That doesn’t mean I can’t make colorful designs.

CO2 Laser engraving and cutting machines do just that.

They can accurately engrave many materials as well as cut out intricate designs. This is a contactless process and there is no ink or dye involved.

We can, however, come up with creative alternatives!

For wood-based projects, it would mean additional time and cost but it can be painted to your custom needs.

Acrylic comes in a WIDE variety of colors making it a fun and beautiful choice for many things. Multiple colors of acrylic can be used to create custom, colorful designs.

What methods of payment are accepted?

I accept major credit and debit cards right through the site including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and more.

If you are a local customer and prefer to pay with cash that can also be arranged.
